The cabin house

On an old London road
Stood a beautiful cabin house
Left to the mercy of the Cold
To the cats and to the mouse.

Father gone,
Mother too.
Children gone
Leaving just a little clue.

The chimney's smoke's were twisting away
That fateful day I heard
Covering the grey blue sky
So birds can't tell, the living from the dead.

The cops arrived at dawn
The London fire service men chanting
"A house is burning down"
They came and beheld nothing.

Father gone,
Mother too.
Children gone
Leaving just a few clue.

I took a tour for days
Bloodstains I found fading away
All over the wall, on that day
What really happened, no one can say.

I can only picture and imagine
Maybe they are still alive
Somewhere behind the scene
With hope of starting a new life.
