The Cruel Emotion

Free verse
Love.
As constricted as the maker is above.
When he watches all the obscene horrors occur.
What is this feeling?
It chokes my stomach and burns it from the inside.
It happens every time I look at her scarlet hair.
It happens every time I look into her scarlet eyes.
It happens every time she is around me.
Yet, she will never look my way.
At least not today.
