Detachment

On the tip of my tongue
Foreign words flow
But these words I speak
Are not mine
The mirror shows me
a stranger

My legs walk a land unknown
Skylines I have never seen
And a house that is not a home

As the moon rises
I drag this pile of flesh
Up the stairs
Into bed

About this poem
