Women

Women
Do you know who you are
Do you know the essence of your beauty
Do you know the value of the space you maintain
Or do you suffer in silence
And commit violence to your self esteem
Did you give up on your dreams to
Make things
Such as a diamond ring that attached you to you a scheme
A ploy to destroy everything you set out to accomplish
Do you doubt that you can be successful
Do you let the stresses of imperfection
Get you down and out
Does this way make you feel stronger
Or does it make you suffer longer
Does your imperfections make you change directions of what you think is best

WOMENNN
ARE YOU BOUND TO THE IDEA THAT YOU HAVE TO BE TOUGH
AND do you feel like you can’t make it through life without being rough
Does the soft girl era make you afraid to dream big
Run free
Make moves
And enjoy a smile

Women
Are you okay with this way
Does your smile fade when you are alone
Do you feel like you were pushed to be grown
WOMEN
How do you begin to mend your broken pieces
That you have shaved down, cut up, even shredded to fit in
How do you make the dream of your dreams have oxygen again

WOMEN
Do you understand who you are
Do you know that your blood creates Kings and queens
But yet you bust at the seams with sadness
Do you know that you have the ability to change the scorched earth
But you pour your tears on plants that grow poison in your garden
Do you trust your self enough to
Do the right thing and make the right moves when it is time to choose

WOMEN
DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
Do you know that your path is lit
And can be seen from Mars
Your scars glow in the dark making your
Body look like a decoration
I mean declaration of all the things you
Can do and
Things you can be
Or is it just me
I know that I am powerful beyond
Measure and can change my life with a thought
And no matter what Im taught I can rearrange history
It is no mystery to me that I am the head and not the tail
I was created to move through earth
While I give birth to greatness
I was designed in perfection dipped in love and admiration
I am a Woman
So Women
Do you know who you are
