TIME



Time is the essence of each waking hour
Time is the way we measure our days
Time is the path on which we all travel
Until Time's End shall mark our ways.

Julie Maria Santina Fogarty

I was born in Basingstoke, England where Christmas meant snow, hot dinners and carol singing. My family immigrated to south-west Western Australia to a sheep farm. Such a contrast from living in a two-storey council flat in Basingstoke. Western Australia is so beautiful. I spent many hours at the local swimming pool and on the diving boards. So happy. Then we moved to Victoria. I now love to spend time writing and swimming as I am retired. I am very proud of the fact that in 2002 I won the Editor's Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry with poetry.com. more…
