Mom Where Have You Gone

Mom where have you gone that I can't see nor hear you so clearly
I miss your kind words, understanding love, and the shoulder you always gave to cry on
You would always help me to understand the things that would confuse me
Answering the questions that I didn't know the answer to or helping me to find the answer
Helping me to prepare for a life without you and learning to find the answers for me
Mom you have gone from this earth to a world unknown to me at the moment
I feel your spirit on occasion guiding me in the direction that I need to go
You seem to be still teaching me even with you not here to seek for any answers I need
Answering with love that I will eventually find the answers as long as I continue to seek them
Helping me from the heavens to not be so shy in asking others for help with the answers
Mom where have you gone that I don't know where to go sometimes since you have been gone
I miss your love, hugs, and continued encouragement to continue to push myself to learn
You are still helping me to understand even without you I can accomplish anything I set my mind to
Answering me in a different way than I'm used to but being gentle enough to help me through it
Helping me know that your still here for me just in a different kind of light now
Mom where have you gone
