The Flying Bird

Acrostic
The Flying Bird

A flying bird brought smile to my face
A feeling of hope and some happiness
Never felt by the human race

Then some more birds joined
Flying high in the sky
Making me forget my troubles
Pointing my gaze up high

Drifting dark clouds; swaying tree tops are whispering today
Asking me to forget what happened; to keep the pain at bay.

I wrote this poem as I was sitting depressed watching the blue sky and the birds in a mood of despair and hopelessness
