First Love

Quietly sinking to depths unknown.
Is this Love in the making?
Yet we have not shown.
Equal time of giving and taking;
Sometimes wanting to be alone.
In absence hearts swell aching;
Day by day how we've grown.
"You are what I need," I say shaking.
Together we are royalty upon the throne.
Are you my Queen devoid of faking?
Am I to finally one day call you my own?
Questions to answer not forsaking;
My Love for you goes right to the bone.
