I sing a song to you, O Lord;

to the Mighty God,
the Prince of peace

Can I worship any other
and praise a love
that's not my own
but gently flows
from such great love
that on a cross was shown.

You're the source
of life and love:
the One who loved me first;

and quenched my bitter thirst.

I give you all the glory,

with all I am I praise you:
for you are worthy;
no one saves aside from you.

No one else
deserves such praise,
O my Saviour
and my King!
Jesus, I love you;
you have shown me favour.

You were bruised
and battered
yet your love remains,
for me who nailed you
to the cross
yet forgives my putrid shame.

So I sing this song
to you, my Lord!

to the King who is my Lord
