I am one of 11 children and was #5 in the libe up. I wax the first to graduate college. I’m a person who loves words, writing and communicating through the written word. Spent my entire career (31 years) working with a major newspaper in Fresno CA. I was a “One & Done” kind of a career gal. Born in Hobart, Oklahoma, family moved to California when I was one year okd—raised in the San Joaquin vallry. Graduated 1964 from Roosevelt High School Fresno CA. Spent my college days and Graduated from Tomlinson College near Nashville Tennessee 1968; hired at The Fresno Bee (a McClatchy entity) 1968; Married to Vietnam Veteran SP5 Fredy Lee Eichelbarger 1970 - Current and celebrating 53 years in May 2033. Retired from The Fresno Bee 1999. Co Owner of Family owned & Operated major appliance repair service 1979-2012 when husband also retired. I am strictly an amateur poet; my Father had poet tendencies, i have a brother who has been published for a few poems and siblings who are song writers, singers, and musicians. We are blessed but not famous!!! LOL!!!
