Analysis of Little Rose

I present to you a delicate little rose,
Much talked about in poem and in prose.
Although I cannot tell a lie,
It is really a loan between you and I.
As you can plainly see,
I actually acquired this beautiful rose for me,
Now you might think of me as selfish ,
But this is truly my only wish.
Think hard of me? Please do not do,
I am really thinking only of you.
For if I possess this rose and thee,
The two most beautiful things in the world belong to me.
