Analysis of NIGHT BEASTS CALLING

Night beasts are calling
Like the very voice of death,
Shrill screeching rings out
To halt your very breath.

Terror comes a’calling
As night beasts shrill,
Announcing death is coming
To their future kill.

Night beasts slithering
Through a starless night,
Darkness is the enemy
Of those about to die.

Fiends that slink and glide
Leaving behind a foul slime trail,
Pursuing the terrified
Who know death is on their tail.

Night beasts shrilling as
They smell the scent of fear,
Slithering, sliding, gliding
As they sense a victim near.

Teeth are gnashing, gnawing
As they hack at a bloody kill,
Feeding upon a human corpse
Until they’ve had their fill.

Slinking after the terrified
Night creatures close behind,
Any crying, pleading victims
That the night beasts may find.

Night monsters signalling
To others loathsome beasts,
Calling them to the latest kill
To join a bloody feast.

Night beasts calling
To terrify human beings,
Who stay locked up safe inside
To avoid these dreadful fiends.
