Analysis of THE LIZARD MAN

A warrior sleeping
The death sleep of the hunter,
His senses begin to stir
Soon it will be time to rise,
To go out to stalk and kill.

Lizard creatures stalk
Humans their chosen prey,
Cold-blooded reptiles
Insensitive to emotion,
Lusting after human blood
Needing just to kill men,
Enjoying the seeds he sows
He sows seeds of destruction,
A lizard man closing in
Soon to kill another human,
Longing to kill us all
The lizard men approach.

Stalking and hunting far and wide
Hoping to find a mortal,
Too cowardly to stand and fight
Too weak and puny to run,
A heavy sword is wielded
By a mighty warrior,
Slashing down on flesh and bone
Severing bone and organs,
Passing judgment on an enemy
Upon the human species,
The lizard men attack
And gladly would wipe us out.

THE END
