Analysis of Same Difference
I’m with child, my daughter says to me
Our first grand, goodness, what will it be?
I have more news for Mimi and you
Are you sitting down? OK, there are two
I know you’ve always outdone others
An now twins, starting out as a mother
Two new hearts begin to beat
Although together but yet to meet
It doesn’t matter whether girl or boy
I can guarantee they’ll be twice the joy
They are the same in our hearts and mind
Equally in our hearts they’re two of a kind
Matching noses, mouth and eyes
When one feels pain, the other cries
Their names should rhyme say you and I
Chaola, you’re blessed with Sarai & Lynai
We lay them down and watch them sleep
And pray the Lord their souls to keep
As they prepare to play life’s game
Each heart is different but look the same
One loves to read, the other dance
So life will give them both a chance
To see what challenges come their way
Different choices made on the same day
Can’t miss a day without the other
Still not the same without their Mother
When they’re together everything’s the same
Separated, life is a different type of game
Some ask how do you tell who’s who
Just pay attention as they approach you
But each look the same as cute as the other
Yet they’re quite different, just ask their mother
