Analysis of That's It!

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

You know...
There are times like this.
When saying 'That's It!'
Can apply to anything.

'Tell me about it.
What and why have you said 'That's It?'
And what are you applying that to,
To mean?'

'That's a good question.
I didn't expect you to ask.
I have already had enough,
Of so much other B.S.
I can not find anything else left to find,
To notice worthy of wasting my time...
Others seem to accept.'

'So...
Your saying 'That's It!',
Is...what?
A question or a statement?'

'I haven't decided that yet!
But tell me this...
Do recommend or suggest,
Where I should go.
To make my 'That's It!'
A lot more valued?
That would make my day,
Satisfying?'

'That's It!'
You must be,
On some good 'meds' my brutha!
You could sell that stuff.
And that will be the 'It' to get.
Not to question what 'That It!' is.'

'Come on.
I'm serious.'

'And so am I.
Good bye. Good luck.
And happy landing.
God?
That's It!
No more.
Please help me arrive back home.
Without being seen publicly,
Alone laughing hysterically.
I know YOU are testing my faith!
