Analysis of Fake promises

They promised they’d be there for you
They promised they would stay
They promised you forever
But left anyways

They promised to always love you
They promised to never leave you
They promised to be by your side
But we both know it was all a lie

All the promises they broke
And All the lies they told
All the heartaches, depression and trauma
You delt with alone
Nobody even bothered to even pick up the phone
Or hit you up with a “hello” just to check up on you

You swore that it was you and i till the very end
But now I’m all broken, with a heart you can never mend
