Analysis of When Is It Too Late To Admit It

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

When is it too late to admit,
The doing of it has been said...
It is.
Repeatedly to hear it,
Time and time again.
To no longer have that heard.
With a making of sense to anyone,
Unconvinced?
Ignore their yelling,
Of what is going on around them.
Attempting to escape,
From a 'never too late'.
Only those who appreciate,
A paying attention to what time it is.
Without having any regret to listen,
To voices fading away in the distance.
With time that has become too late,
For a rescue that could have made...
A difference to then argue about,
How stubbornness has no benefit...
To one with a head thick as a brick wall!
Dining on crow and whining to find,
No one accepting their B.S.

'I admit,
There were times I have had my doubts.'

'And...
We admit these times to wish,
Your mouth can be shut to close...
With permanence!'

'How rude, disrespectful and thoughtless!'

'To which one of us with hands raised,
Offends what I've stated to you, more?
