Analysis of Besiege
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
The vision of all has come,
To you like words of a book;
That is sealed under your thumb,
For men in taking a look.
Open up your eyes and read,
But cannot for it is sealed;
I pray since you have a need,
So prophecy is revealed.
When they give and cannot read,
Because these people draw near;
For laud and honor succeed,
For worshipping and revere.
Honored by your mouth and tongue,
While hearts are far away;
Regardless, what words are flung,
Your mind keeps going astray
Your fear in Law taught by men,
No matter what the Lord brings;
He will be doing again,
All of the wonderful things.
With wonder upon wonder,
For the wisdom of the wise;
Shall perish from the blunder,
For not opening their eyes.
