Analysis of A Freedom To Plagiarize

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Seldom does one's freedom to plagiarize,
Can find this attempt hiding to disguise...
Originality.
Or the creator who introduces,
A fresh direction...
Someone else later uses,
To have believe...
Their theft initiated,
Is creative and innovative.
Although...
It has to be admitted,
That a taking what has been pioneered.
With a dumping on it a pile of B.S.
Can attract those familiar with the smell.
Knowing they will do well to sell,
Others who buy it.
Who too,
Take no effort to endeavor...
Calling what is theirs to own.
Regardless if the quality of it,
Is mediocre not to notice...
Stinks to high heaven.
Error flawed and reeks with deception.
As long as it is fashionable.
And quick and fast to accept approval.

'Who cares about,
What is or is not being done to fake it?
If it is copied from an original,
So what?
Pretensions are faked to imitate,
Aren't they?
And more seem to appreciate,
The waste of time taken to do it done!
And...
Not a word is heard about who charades,
Better than others flaunting...
In masquerade.'

'That is much different,
Than in sight, day and night...
Down to read or write plagiarism!'

'Fraud is fraud.
However it comes done to dress it.'

'You mean,
However it is addressed!'

'Either way,
The meaning doesn't change,
What still remains the same thing.
Whether naked or hiding to cloak it!
