Analysis of Intelligence

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

If intelligence to have and claim it,
Was used to prove this true.
Why is it,
Those who refuse...
To either ignore or accuse,
Others of having no common sense.
When the ones who make,
And pass their judgements...
Would not recognize the difference between,
Bad decisions made to praise their stupidity.
Or celebrating a fire started,
To cheer and applaud...
The burning down the halls of justice.
Just to prove,
A doing to roast marshmellows...
Is their preference than to accept,
The image of a diversified democracy...
Getting an attention for being,
A progressive society!
Without bull riders and sheet wearers,
Hiding identities while carrying torches.
With these scenes,
Wanting to solely represent...
The image of highly intelligent human beings.
Who are more qualified than all others,
To label themselves better...
Than anyone else.

And they are.
They have proven themselves better,
At creating friction.
Unlimited conflict and division.
Racial tension.
With a deception that has corrupted truth!

Although...
It could be argued,
None of that requires intelligence.
However...
Being ignorant can convince anyone,
Just how powerful the nonsense of this is...
When ignorance is chosen,
To sit in positions of leadership.
And defended by those,
Claiming themselves intelligent.

In other words...
Anyone with consciousness,
Observing to learn...
No one benefits from any of this.
Can only pray the toxic smell,
Passes...
Like the odor of foul gas.
Leaving everyone to awaken,
From the hypnotic effect...
These fumes have left,
On minds victimized...
By the ones who have done more damage,
Than cows grazing on chemicalized grass!

We are what we eat.
Drink and digest.
Leaving toxins behind.
Playing games with our minds.
To consumed and believe,
Whatever it is...
That makes us want and wish to stay fools.
Intelligent fools!
