Analysis of Who Really Knows

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Who is it that really knows,
Why many accept...
Everything to them told.
Then there are those who question,
Truth produced with evidence.
Done to do to argue over,
How, where and when to discover...
A proof of truth.
Yet still unconvinced,
How common sense to use...
For whatever the reason,
Does for a few makes all the difference.
Regardless of the time.
Day of the month, year or season.

Who is it that really knows,
Why something seen shown to expose...
And observed to witness as it is.
Many will disagree.
Just to do it.
Purposely!
To then blame to claim later,
On beliefs they have not taught to teach.
That has nothing to do,
To deny and/or delude...
A reality to prefer it had to have fictioned!

'Who told you what is real to see it,
Should be suspected to be untrue?'

'If it was true.
Why did I not see it on TV?'

'TV?
TV is a marketing tool.
Used to get you to buy,
Whatever it is to sell.
No matter if a lie!'

'Oh yeah?
Then what about movies?
Video games and magazines?
And pictures displayed,
On buildings to show...
Animated animals talking,
Day and night flashing lights...
On huge colorful screens?
I've seen this.
And you want me to believe,
That too is not real?'

'Everything to see,
Is not meant to accept to believe as real.
Like what you hear.
Intended and meant for you to accept!
As reality.'

'Oh?
Like a listening to your B.S?'

'Well...
There is a difference.
You see...
Some B.S. has more significance,
Than other B.S.
That kind of nonsense should be ignored!'

'Oh?
And your B.S. is...
What?'

'Significant!
You see...
Common sense to use,
Does have its advantages.
And makes all the difference.
However...
We all eventually learn to accept,
What pleases our preferences best!'

'And...
Who is it that benefits,
From YOUR preferences?'

'Good question.
Who really knows.
But I'm willing to bet,
Those who market their B.S. the best.
And better than the rest.
Could care less who they get,
Sold on it to buy!'

'Hmmm.
And...
On both sides,
No one can deny...
We are all B.S. buyers!'

'Common sense to use or not,
Makes us all,
B.S. shoppers.
Neither to hide or deny,
Our appetites to buy...
As much as we can.
To satisfy our preferences!'

'Gotta run.
There's more B.S. I gotta get done.
Before the New Year comes.
To make repeated resolutions made.
No one keeps.
You know...
It is a ritual with me.
How about you?
More and more it seems,
Every month...
We forget our beliefs.
To welcome 'something' to celebrate!'

'HAPPY NEW YEAR!'
