Analysis of A Fire Within

There's a fire within;
One such tethered to this heart.
Why am I even here?
A tidal wave of emotions;
Crashing into something that's missing.
To face a fear with no recollection.
A reserved disposition.
There's this spark you see;
But no body of water in sight,
To calm these flames.
My heart is set to burn
If one dares to move it.
Can we just pause this damn charade
And take me far from here.
Take hold of this heart
And tear me asunder.
Untether this fire.
I can no longer stand these emotions.
Such a burden;
Yet I still want it completely.
There's this feeling from within;
One I cannot seem to place.
But it's there and I cannot evade it.
Why am I still trying to fight this?
A hurricane is on its way,
But it's spinning around these flames
Like it's afraid of something.
Terrified even.
But it somehow belongs in  the midst of things.
There's a fire within;
One such rendered to this heart.
It has consumed every part of me....
