Analysis of If Truth Can Not Be Faced

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

If no one can come to face truth as is.
With admitting our dilemmas,
And conflicts.
Have been our own creation.
How will they possibly be solved.
When time we spend,
Seeking others to end...
What we have done to ourselves.
To believe someone else,
Has a remedy to cure and mend...
That which we have done to delude.
And fictioned.
As an excuse to refuse,
The reality of what we continue to do...
To each other.
With lies to sell and tell them told!
Sold.
At our own expense.

If truth can not be faced?
And deception is everywhere.
High and low all over the place!
Who can we expect to correct,
A mess we have created to make.
To deny it with more lies to ourselves to tell.
