Analysis of From The Outside

Opinions given.
With judgement and criticism to pass.
Is easy to do from the outside looking in.
As many do to choose and blame,
Others making effort to endeavor...
Moving forward against,
An opposition presented.
Only to achieve an attention to get.
Done to have this made aware,
That a pettiness accompanied by ignorance...
Is a wanted wish to be validated.
Than a progress made for everyone to benefit.
Yet...
There are those who defiantly object.
Since those who suggest,
A better way to achieve success.
Are thought to want the credit,
Just for themselves.
Although what has been suggested,
No one knew their names.
However...
Those who placed blame to complain?
Their names are known.
But gone unshown...
Is any proof of their suggestions,
To voice them or recommend.
Nor has anyone seen their efforts to endeavor.
Or Witnessed to observe attempts to make!

'Uh...
You folks are often heard to repeatedly say,
What is being done could be better achieved...
If you all sat in positions of leadership.
Is this assessment correct?'

'Yes.
We, together, can do a much better job.
As long as we accomplish this together.'

'Okay.
And...
Weren't those same words spoken,
By those you picked to represent your wishes?
To have you not show or support,
Those issues affecting your own lives.
And...
Told you were,
That no one can be expected to do this alone?'

'Yeah?
And...
What is your point?'

'Who and where are the people,
To show the togetherness you mentioned.
Voting as if in a popularity contest.
Then later heard complaining,
That their candidate...
Doesn't make important appearances,
At every cook out, cocktail sip...
Church function, wedding or graduation?
Who is it that you expect,
Will do what it takes...
To get things done for you?
Saint Nick?'

'We...
The people are here!'

'Doing what?
Watching, criticizing and passing judgement?'

'We don't want to interfere.
What else is expected from us?'

'How about showing interest?'

'Interest?
Interest in what?'

'Well...
Let's say,
Less interest in gossiping.
And more interest shown,
In your own progress and quality of life!'

'Why?
No one listens to us.
That's why together we vote,
To have our voices heard!'
