Analysis of Auntie
Kevin Anderson 1965 (Ill)
In everyone's life there is struggle and strife
With blind folds on we enter life
Sink or swim is how we are taught
That the best lessons are those lessons bought
We all need guidance and encouragement
From our childhood to adulthood development
Some get it all while others lack basic common sense
The proof is readily available check the evidence
Who does one turn to for life's exacting education
Honor Auntie Gussie quickly and without hesitation
She teaches the word that open ears have heard
She clears the way so the blind see straight into a curb
She may make a lot of noise fussing no cussing
The notes of “do the right thing” she does sing
That's Aunt Gussie, forever loving and caring
That’s Auntie Gussie sharing all as she is preparing
