Analysis of The Lost Shore
The newest form of anger,
The newest form of wraith
All feelings that are bottled come bursting out
Attack me, desecrate me, destroy me now.
Grey falls on blue on this lonely shore of mine
I never have peace, always running
Never calm, always loud
I fall down and feel failure
But I look up to see, and calm flowing sea,
a place of hope gives strength to me.
The endless sea makes me run,
Fair into the night and past the sun
But soon, joy is gone.
Hope is lost
Nothing last forever
Everything is lost.
Grey falls on blue on my lonely shore
Never peace, always running
I seek more.
But never get it.

About this poem
It's about a person lost in their mind, struggling with all sorts of depression and anxiety before they come to this almost happy place that cures them, but they leave it behind and return to their sadness.
