Analysis of When Mankind Was Small

Albert Lavallee 1952 (Syracuse, NY)

God gave you the intelligence to make fire,
NOT YOU, but other men and they shared
their intelligence and you were warm!
And you said, in your broken grunts of a language,
God is good!!!

God gave you the intelligence to make shelter,
NOT YOU, but other men who helped you build a home,
And you were warm, dry and protected.
And you said, in a long forgotten language,
God is good!

God gave you the intelligence to raise livestock and grow grains
NOT YOU, but other men who showed you how.
And you were well fed, warm, and safe.
And you said in a clearer voice, God is Good!

And then God gave you the intelligence to make a
wagon, a motorcar, an airplane,
NOT YOU, but other men who said,
These things will make your life easy and fun!
You said, Thank you God, God is good!

God, in His total wisdom, then gave man
the intelligence, NOT YOU, but very intelligent men
the knowledge and skill to cure disease!
And you and your wife fell on your knees when
your baby was cured of a virus at one month old
And you cried out, "Oh Holy God, You Are Great!

But then a new and very deadly virus came into your world, by His Plan and Design, but He gave very very intelligent men, certainly NOT YOU, the intelligence
to make a vaccine to stop it!! But you said, " NOT ME,
I'm smarter than those men! I don't trust those smart
doctors, scientist, and leaders and their "Drug"
They just want to control me!

And God said, I sent my Son to Earth to give you life and life more abundantly!
                     "LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY"
Accept your gifts from a Loving merciful God
As you have from the beginning AND LIVE!
