Analysis of At Night

At nighttime, I see the bright gray moon glow
I hear tiny crickets chirp quietly
Opening the window to feel the blow
Conscious unlike my tired society

Everything seems calmer during the night
All my worries disappear from my mind
Cars, trains, traffic lights are all out of sight
Soft melodies on repeat, on rewind

Waiting for tiredness to take over
Glancing at the ceiling to the dark space
I truly hope time would move by slower
My eyes travel all over the black space

Split seconds later my eyelids droop
Visions rise throwing me into a loop
