Analysis of An Initiated Plan

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Even if a plan,
Initiated not understood to understand.
There will be many left to come to agree,
What was done to do...
Few who claimed to know nothing about it,
Can not say...
A lesson taught to them learned,
That ignoring anything....
Done to effect their way of life to live,
Stays to be remembered.
Long after blaming to refuse and accept,
A defending to protect their own ignorance...
Has a way of returning,
Consequences someone pays.
Regardless who is accused,
Of owing an explanation...
For what has been done to do.
With it to follow without a question asked!

'Uh...
This direction taken,
Has irreversible effects...
On the quality of life none of us expected!'

'What do you mean, AND?
We were not prepared,
For this kind of plan initiated.
Without our consent given to implement!'

'OKAY?
WHAT DO YOU MEAN, OKAY?'

'That means,
We are giving you the respect to listen.
A respect not heard from you to do before.'

'So...
What is it you expect us to do?'

'Nothing more or less than we expect,
You have done before.
To go ignored!'

'But...
That to us is not fair at all.'

'FAIR?
NEITHER ARE THE PRICES AT A FLEA MARKET.
Who do you think we are?
Awaiting to bargain,
For what you will accept?
This price you pay we have decided is right!
Take it or leave it.
Buyer's remorse,
You may have had overnight.
Does not appear nowhere near,
Our course of action!'

'How rude, thoughtless and inconsiderate!'

'Not a pot do we have here,
Overused yet calling the kettle black!'

'That makes no sense at all.'

'Hearing that heard to come from you?
Leaves none of us listening in disbelief!
And...
It's awakened. Not woke!'

'Come on.
What has happened to your humor?'
