Analysis of To Disappoint Is Meant

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Not to know someone.
Personally.
But on rumors and judgements to pass.
With allegations and innuendos,
Whispered as updates...
To add dirt to insignificant trash.
Is never suggested to recommend.
Since the doing of it,
Returns nothing positive.
To consider advantageous or a bonus,
That benefits.

Not to know someone.
To prejudge and based upon opinions given.
With a belief them to be accessible.
And made to be a fool.
Easily approached.
To disrespect and offend?
Often is remembered.
As an intentional doing.
From the moment this act begins.

Don't do it.

However...
As teachable lessons go out of windows.
Should not be done to anyone.
Neither before nor after,
Someone shows...
An example of displayed ignorance.
To prove anyone unknown,
Can be shown disrespect.
And treated as if a fool.
As if out to undo,
Another unknown.
And suspected to be limited,
In life experiences.
Not to have met nor before has known,
Is the one they will decide to pick...
Their fool to laugh and enjoy every bit of it.

And...
This to do,
Seems for many...
The only option they choose.
Seldom before.
Yet...
With aware consciousness after.
To learn from one,
Who has lived to experience from others too.
What it is fools do to prove,
Themselves to eventually be!

'I apologize.
You see...
I didn't do what I did,
To make you look as if a fool.
I didn't do it intentionally.'

'Trust me,
I knew that.
You just wanted me to feel,
Approved and accepted.
Right?
And...
By the only way you know how to be.
Right?
No offense taken.
And I accept your apology.
Afterall...
I was once thought a fool to make stupid.
Seriously.
And you, hopefully, have proven to me,
Being stupid...
Is not on your wish list.
To become your destiny!
Trust me I more then understand.
I was once in that position myself.
Until situations proved me the idiot.

'There is so much about life,
I have yet to learn.'

'Well...
Accepting to make a fool of yourself.
To have no other purpose?
But to do it to think it fun?
Is a learning of life,
You or no one else should seek to deserve.
Since embarrassments come,
At a price to pay...
For fools who choose to stay that way!
And I will tell you this,
Paying that price to be stupid is expensive.
Since it takes time and a long climb back,
From acknowledging being an idiot...
To a recovered fool to be aware,
Of the tools fools use.'

'You make me feel so stupid.'

'That's great.
Now...
Let's keep your confession to admit that,
To ourselves!
Okay?
And this I give as advice to understand it clear.
I have learned,
A recovery from being a fool publicly...
Attracts more to believe the doing of this,
Is only temporary!
Don't be fooled or tricked,
Into repeating the same nonsense!'
