Analysis of Painless Crush

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

How is it possible,
That anyone these days...
Known to be,
Not only a deceiver who purposely dupes.
Frauds openly with delight and glee.
Declared an idiot, a moron.
Detached from reality.
And yet remain,
As someone followed to allow...
A thief who hoodwinks,
Adoring crowds into a cheering frenzy.
And...
Who would throw his own family,
Business associates, friends...
As well as other who openly declare,
Their faithful and undying loyalty.
This...
Whatever it is he may be called,
Would throw them all under a bus.
To witness them crushed.
Then deny the doing of it himself.
Just to stay,
In the position of being the driver.

'That's insane!
Beyond a madness.
Speeding light years away from craze.
Although....
I do have this one question to ask?'

'Be my guest.'

'If money was involved.
And money rules over reality.
We all know that.
Right?
And the driver of the bus,
Practiced mesmerizing hypnotism.
Or put crack in snacks he offered.
While the people were made incapable,
To stop becoming influenced...
From the image of feasting,
At a table wearing silk robes.
As if disciples sitting with Jesus.
Listening to hear,
It would not be their Last Supper!
As I suspect they were told going under.
This is what I wonder...
How much were his devoted advisors,
Actually paid?
To wipe away all reality to believe,
That a being crushed under a bus...
Would leave them painless?'
