Analysis of The Sign

The_Unfolden 1998 (Utrecht)

I didn’t realize it the first time,
Was this dream even mine?
A few seemed kind, but I had to hide.
Why did I miss the sign?

I thought I did, but did I see the light?
Was there light at the end of the tunnel,
Though I had to run with struggle.

I knew the following night I would be in trouble.
I was caught ones again in my scary bubble.

The Darkness was waiting behind me..
Oh why did I miss the sign?
