Analysis of New life wanted

Hasan Johnson 1980 (Peoria Illinois)

New life wanted
A better one
This a pathetic life
Can’t wait to move on
Drenched in debt
So cold it’s lukewarm
Wish it was different
Don’t even know what better is
Maybe a wife and a house with kids
A job that paid good
Or a body that was desired
My wishes weren’t granted
No magic carpet here
A whole new my ….
Look at the clouds
Sat in the shade
Look at everything God has made
