Analysis of The One

Michele Norris 1977 (California)

When the one whose hand you're holding Is the one who holds your heart.. When the one whose eyes you gaze into...

Gives your hopes and dreams their start,

When the one you think of first and last... The one who holds you tight, And the things you plan together Make the whole world seem just right,

When the whom you believe in puts their faith and trust in you, You've found the one and only You'll share your whole life through.

About this poem

Reminds me of my husband, Bill Norris. We have known one another for about 30 years...We have had a few bumps in the road...we have split up more than once. But our path always leads us back together. He is " The One" that I could never shake... He is...my One.
