Analysis of Faith Kept To Keep

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

With faith kept to keep,
All our worries and problems...
Can and could be healed to mend.
And yet...
Fakers of faith,
Who say they pray everyday.
With a doing to stay that way.
Seem to not allow God,
They claim to obey.
Are often heard to claim,
To feel alone to endure...
Their sorrows and pain,
Without empathy shown to them given!

'I don't understand.
What is it in my life am I missing?'

'Maybe...
Honesty.
Truth and the reality of it.
A selfish self deception.
Take your pick.
Only you would know better,
Than anyone else.
The answer to that question.'
