Analysis of Wounds Meant To Inflict

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

A doing of it planned to wound,
To catalogue and capture I'm video.
With it meant to inflict upon others...
Backfires!
To then pretend by the misdeeds of deceivers.
Had not been intended to feel the pain of it.
By the ones with their mouths closed.
Grimacing as tears flow from their eyes.
Claiming,
The success they expected...
Had been more convincing to them.
Than they could themselves believe.
And...
Could only be the comments made,
From those who will never come to admit...
The painful agony,
Upon themselves to inflict.
Was just a test to prove their heroic bravery!

'And...uh...huh?
How often is it,
Do you all come to gather together...
With it done to publicly prove to others,
What you are willing to do...
To have so many see to believe,
How proud you are of your ancestry?
So you say.
Although...
Has it occurred to any of you,
That a shooting yourself in the foot...
Could have another interpretation?
And accepted to mean,
Something entirely different than bravery?'

'Yes.
Yes,
We have had several discussions about that.
However,
We chose not to express our humility.
In the fear...
This would be regardled as a weakness.
And none of us wanted or will ever wish,
To be perceived that way.
Choosing not to stain an image to maintain it!'

'Each day God gives to us,
To open wide our eyes.
Without denying,
Our own actions to acknowledge them...
Could actually prevent,
Others from suffering...
From our own display of ignorance.'

'IGNORANCE IS MINE,
Sayeth The Lord.'

'You get no argument from me, bruh.
I respect your beliefs.
It's just rare that I see them,
Expressed in such a unique committed way.
Trust me,
I ain't mad atchu!'
