Analysis of Autumn Chronicle
Water rattled down the window pane,
While daylight placed bets against the dust.
Piercing and persistent is the autumn rain;
And dead leaves whirled from summer’s rust.
The outside world is reflective of October and orange, and the
Souls of slain Samurai rise with the fog,
That creeps and slithers along the concrete,
Haunting the autumn streets.
