Analysis of Christmas Sheep

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

There is a sign God posted here!
It plainly reads: One Way.
He placed it here to lead you home,
Before the judgment day.
Your mansion waits just up the drive;
There’s wood cut for the fire.
Jesus Christ unlocks the door,
To all your heart desires!

Thanksgiving never ceases;
It’s a constant state of mind.
This narrow road you travel
Only leads to Christmas time.
Fellowship with love and faith
And hope is all you need.
Material gifts and presents
Are for those too young to bleed!
