Analysis of Sweet Dreams

He was, still is, and always will be
my sweetest dream,
my beautiful nightmare,
my lovely monster.
He’s the recurring, fire in my bones
and the only thing that could
extinguish the flames.
He’s the thoughts that keep me
awake at night and the very
first thing that comes to mind
each morning.
