Analysis of unpleasant thoughts

Elena Merola 2001 (Tuscany)

I usually close my eyes and enjoy the warm summer breeze my imagination brings

but today not being one of those days,

I let my brain play in the darkest of ways.

The deepest monsters have now come out,

I am being pushed to confront them, one by one

like images on a photo album that good memories has none.

I manage to run away,

knowing I am not ready to stay.
