Analysis of Singular Love of God
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
See to what kind of love,
The Father has given;
That has flowed from above,
Unto us from Heaven.
Children of God we are,
As to we should be called;
Being a shining star,
Even though we are flawed.
For the world does not know,
Knowing not Jesus Christ;
Nor of His love will show,
Why He was sacrificed.
For you are His child,
Though not yet reappeared;
Each of us defiled,
Jesus must be revered.
Everyone who has this hope,
Confession makes them pure;
Able to see the scope,
Purified with the cure.
