Analysis of Power Grabbers

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Power grabbers.
At any price to achieve it reached.
Does what to keep,
A peaceful night sleep to get

Power grabbers,
May take pride...
In being selected to sit,
In positions of leadership.

Then what next will they do,
To prove themselves mentally competent?
Beg for advice and suggestions solicited,
From the very ones...
They declared were not worthy to decide,
Which foot was either their left or right?

While those of power grabbing minds,
Could not find with purpose, reason or rhyme.
To define,
The meaning of leadership.
Or what a power to grab it meant?
That would have anyone believe,
The absence of qualified ethnic diversity,
Has created the chaos and havoc...
As a useful excuse,
To continue to depend upon.
When those focused on power to grab it had,
Know nothing else...
But fighting amongst themselves.
For image to give it.
And impressive pretensions made.
With this done to believe,
The doing of this automatically receives...
Miraculously,
Work to do needed to prove...
Someone has the capability,
To roll up their sleeves.
And get down on their knees.
Without cameras or pictures,
Of them doing it day and night.
To announce what they can do.
When attention to them is given.
But out of sight they continue to claim,
The ones discredited for doing a job right...
Are criticized for their intelligence.

However...
Disqualified they are,
To be mentally equipped to recognize...
A good fight over nonsense to start!
As a reflection of power.
No matter and regardless...
Of the fools they make of themselves.
On distant shores Worldwide.

And these are the days,
Many are awakening to find it found...
Clowns to appreciate,
Now all around.
Are nolonger laughable,
To witness and see them sitting down.
Attempting to create,
The quality of a way of life to live it...
A circus that represents,
The entertaining of lost minds.
Wishing with hope not to be taxed.
On the free passes.
They've been promised to get.
For the proof the exchange,
Of their minds used.
Has been permanently done effectively!

'What a crude and cynical assessment.'

'Well...
That's a relief.
At least you didn't accuse me of being,
Truthfully honest.
Or disgracefully offensive.
That kind of flattery,
I am not accustomed to receiving.'
