Analysis of Light of my world

Light of my world , the days are dark without the light of my world , the waves have sunk without the light of my world , waiting for the rotations of the earth and seasons to change just to see you again .light of my world I’m crippled and hurt, with the wind you’ve pulled my lungs into dirt , too stunned to speak too numb to feel , light of my world my light you did steal. -Original poem

About this poem

I was dumped over text message by my fiancé after 2 years of dating and planning our life , naming our children, meeting his family , picking out my ring asking for my ring size ,buying a house with me . He said my emotions were too strong because I was dealing with my mom dying of cancer , this poem is about someone making you their everything and ripping it from you leaving you broken and alone .
