Analysis of Ballot II

I’m fascinated by the show
I don’t understand it
But, I am entertained
It’s truly a circus to behold
To watch the clueless and the bold
Battle it out in a game of wits
A tit for tat in a war of twits
“I’m fighting for you”
Is their battle cry
As they ramble thru
Lie after lie
The other side will do you in
If you don’t vote for me and help me win
I’m just like you can’t you see
Vote for me I’ll set you free
The divide, the division, the line of hate
Each side blaming
The nations fate
Has civility become a victim of late?
I try to understand, to grasp and see
But all political wisdom
Is lost to me
To my beloved country,

I pledge allegiance
To the flag of the divided states of America
And to the republic for which it barely stands
One nation? under God (hopefully), indecisive, with liberty and justice for some (as long as your legal)

Eric (and sometimes not)
