Analysis of The Movie Producers (by mel brooks)
So the guy with
The briefcase does numbers
And the one with the scarf
Some old broads.
Who write cheques just
To bankroll a stage play.
Where they get to
Sit up with “the gods”.
First to get confidence
To the boiling.
Here’s the scheme
That your books
There’s a formula in
Profit from losers?
Pay much in.
Get more out, any day.
So the script must be corny
And the songs must be horribly cooked.
Add bright lights and some
Columnist’s smears in the rag tag.
Theyll be richer than Croesus
