Analysis of Resentment
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
What claimed defense is theirs.
Those that declare,
A sharing of resentment.
To have weaponized themselves,
With the purpose to protect...
Possessions.
Against the ones homeless and hungry.
And,
What is this excessive obsessive need...
These same people have while sitting to wish,
For threats to create that keep deepening...
An economic debt.
To fault the doing of it,
On ethnic diversity.
Critical race and replacement theories.
Done to mention and many say diminishes,
The entitled rights of a quality of life...
That the exclusive feeding of those greedy,
Have consciously done day and night.
Feasting as if leeches to satisfy,
Self serving appetites.
And this they hold resentment towards,
Those hungry and homeless...
Ignored on a daily basis.
Yet despised attempting to survive,
Getting closer to the ones...
Causing devastation,
Corruption, division and crime experienced...
By everyone.
What claimed defense is theirs to justify?
With a reason,
To have weaponized themselves...
Against resentment.
Whose?
And from who or whom besides themselves,
Is this blame...
Felt to fear near them to threaten?
When the 'heat' to pack it,
Is right next door!
Steaming with a desire to pull the trigger.
