Analysis of sans roots

self nurtured by nature
maternal despair
age knew no father
thus limited, bare

found footing in mountains
sans roots, still I grow
beneath water's depths
I rise from below

explored & exploited
layers naked, unsealed
defined definitions
once feigned, now revealed
