Analysis of Dream of Summer
The sun beats down on the golden sand,
As I lay and dream of a far off land.
The waves crash in, a soothing sound,
As seagulls circle and fly around.
The heat is strong, but so is the breeze,
And rustling leaves sway in the trees.
Bright flowers bloom, a riot of color,
And the scent of summer becomes much bolder.
Children laugh and play in the park,
While others read books in the shade, so dark.
Ice cream trucks jingle down the street,
And everyone enjoys a summer treat.
As the day fades into a starry night,
Fireflies sparkle, such a beautiful sight.
The air is warm, but not too hot,
And peace descends on this summer spot.
So let us cherish this time of year,
When the world around us is so dear.
For soon enough the leaves will fall,
And winter's chill will blanket all.
