Analysis of Summer
The sound of Summer arrives in warm air
As the Sun beats down its rays
Raising the colors of everything
Invisible fire transforms
Temperature of life
Awakening passionate energy
From the atmosphere
The trees, leaves and grass
Steam in the sky
And my pale skin begins to brown.
How you, my love, tan in the golden light
Your skin, too changes hue
The lining of your body
Reflecting the glow of light years
Painted across space
Your shape and curves
Swell from stellar illumination
I gravitate towards you
In waves of cool desire
So we may soften each other together.
Let us bask in the glory of summertime
Our bodies open completely
Naked and not ashamed
So we may celebrate
The splendor of nude affections
Just as flowers and branches
Spread themselves abroad
Blooming in the light
Let us love each other
All day and night like love intended.
