Analysis of Becoming Oasis
Joe Strickland 1986 (Hobbysville, SC)
Cities at night,
Burning vividly,
The hustle and bustle of millions,
As we try not to lose our will.
People live and breathe,
Each chasing after their own dreams,
Some reaching, others failing,
But never once do we stop believing.
Technology weaves its thread,
The world's information
Right at our fingertips,
We humankind creating our own destiny.
But with progress comes danger,
The threat of uncertainty,
The worry, the fear,
As we cling to the unknown.
A world in constant motion,
Each moment lived, a gift.
And we're caught up in the midst of it all,
Living our lives as best we can.
Time is the great equalizer,
The one thing we can never buy.
But we'll make the most of every moment,
And live our lives without fear or regret.
